The Guilderland Food Pantry is powered by volunteers. Every shelf stocked, every food order packed, every delivery made ... it's all because of neighbors who showed up to help. And there's a volunteer opportunity that's bound to fit your interest and availability.

Food Delivery Driver

Help receive, sort, and organize food donations; stock shelves; assist clients with food orders. This is the heart of what we do. Shifts run Monday – Saturday, 9:30am – 11:00am.

Deliver food orders to families who can't make it to the pantry. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required. Shifts run Monday – Saturday with order pickup by 11:00am for same-day delivery.

Organize a Bottle / Can Drive

Bring us your empties! We accept NYS deposit bottles and cans. Collect empty NYS deposit bottles and cans from your family and friends, and donate them to us. More details on our CLYNK program.

Organize a Food Drive

Organize a food drive through your church, business, school, or civic group, and donate the items directly to the Guilderland Food Pantry to benefit our community.

Food drives are a fantastic way to stock the pantry's shelves and also raise awareness about food insecurity in our community. View a list of acceptable food items.
